It is important to consider some general aspects in the reopening of our campus, Village School continues to work with the best practices for the safe return to classes of our entire student community.
Biosecurity
Parents, students and collaborators were trained in the different biosecurity protocols, such as: Preventive measures for family filter, such as identifying the symptoms, use of software to monitor symptoms and contacts of possible infection (SNAP Health Control), use of masks and face covers, self care, social distancing, hand hygiene, what to do in case of symptoms, biosecurity kit, movements on campus, access control, etc.
Teaching -Learning
The guidelines and procedures for designing, organizing and managing the means to deliver the educational services, taking into account the safety regulations and the need to provide high quality education.
Psychosocial attention
The Village School has traditionally offered all its students, not only a quality academic experience, but also full support for their social, emotional and mental health. During the pandemic, it is even more relevant to continue with this support.
The purpose of the staggered support system is to reinforce community spirit, resilience and comprehensive health of the Village Family through activities, workshops and support equipment geared towards parents, students and staff.
ACTIONS TO MINIMIZE EXPOSURE TO COVID-19
Personal Hygiene Practices
- Both the administrative and academic areas are equipped with bathrooms with sinks and disposable paper towels.
- In both areas alcohol gel dispensers were installed to promote good practices of hand hygiene
Protective partitions
- In the areas of public service, protective partitions were installed to prevent contact between our staff and others.
Floor Signing
- The floor in the administrative area is marked with Floor Stickers in order to promote adequate distancing.
Cleaning Practices
- The administrative and academic areas will be cleaned 3 times a day by our cleaning staff. A thorough cleansing will be applied due to the many elements that can come in contact with others.
- The administrative and academic building will be disinfected every Friday by fogging with chemical products.
Circulating Flow Direction
- Entry to the administrative building will be through the right hand door and exit through the left hand door, in order to prevent close contacts.
- The bathroom in the administrative admittance area will be automated, in order to prevent contact with surfaces that could facilitate Covid-19 infection.
Restrictions
- Remaining in the facilities for social interaction is prohibited. Once your business has concluded, you must leave the facilities immediately.
- Delivery of any type of belongings for your children or teachers to the administrative area will not be .
Permitted
- Using cell phones in the administrative area will be allowed, as long as a mask is worn.
