Opportunities one language further

At Village school we count with several levels and certified teachers that will help us learn five different languages: Spanish, English, French, Mandarin, and German. Spanish and English aren’t optional, but we get to choose which third language we are interested in learning, idea that I totally agree with, because every student gets the opportunity to do what he or she likes.Learning several languages has many different advantages; for example, it can lead you to a scholarship in the college you’ve always wanted to study, and it gets better, it could help you get your dreamed job. Just as the ones I mentioned previously, being multilingual can help you in many aspects of your life, and to be honest, it is a blast to spend this time learning with your friends; otherwise, we might not like it.“Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.”

This quote by Rita Mae Brown is just an example of how a language has to do with everything and everyone. How do you expect knowing someone or going somewhere without speaking the same language? Well, guess what, learning several languages when you’re young is a great start. Having an idea of what you want to do when you’re grown up should be the first thing taken into consideration when you choose your third language; what you want to study, where you want to live, and with what kind of people you want to spend most of your time.

Asking yourself these questions can lead you towards choosing the language that fits your future and yourself the best.In general, languages are very useful, and learning just one or two isn’t always enough. Knowing more, learning more, and caring more, is the way to succeed in life. So get prepared, learn a new language, because uncountable opportunities are just that further.
