During the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2022, excellence was recognized through different awards. We are proud to share the accomplishments of our students with the Village family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.Presidential Award for Academic Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award recognizes academic success in the classroom. To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements: (1) A cumulative (9th<\/sup> \u2013 12th<\/sup> grade) GPA equal to or greater than <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.5  and (2) High achievement (90th<\/sup> percentile or above) in reading or math on MAP tests throughout high school (9th<\/sup> \u2013 12th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Academic Excellence<\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summa Cum Laude – An accumulated GPA throughout HS equal to or greater than 3.9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magna Cum Laude – An accumulated GPA throughout HS equal to or greater than 3.7 but lower than    3.9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cum Laude – An accumulated GPA throughout HS equal to or greater than 3.5 but lower than 3.7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Athletic Excellence:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awarded to those students who have demonstrated excellence in physical fitness, who are self-disciplined, skillful, committed, punctual, competitive, physically fit, and attended practice regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Human Values Excellence: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awarded to the student who has demonstrated excellence in the following qualities: respect, solidarity, conciliation, caring for others\u2019 rights and belongings as well his or her own, and is sensitive to others\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
