Our Principal has experience in international school settings as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. As a school administrator, she has spent many years developing educational plans. She believes Principals need to play different roles, and to get involved in all possible areas when providing quality education is the institutional goal.<\/p>

I was born in San Diego, California and have spent the past twenty-five years as a professional educator and leader, spending the last twelve years overseas in international schools in Turkey and Qatar before coming to Guatemala.\u00a0 I hold BA and MA degrees in English from Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia as well as M.E.d. <\/span>degrees from Liberty University in Virginia in Teaching and Learning and Supervision and Leadership.\u00a0 I also spent six years completing my doctoral studies in Religion and Literature at the University of Virginia before entering my career in secondary education.\u00a0 I am passionate about strategic school improvement, having served on many accreditation review teams with Cognia in the LATAM region, and I have been a presenter at both Tri-Association and AMISA conferences in the past three years.\u00a0 I look forward to building upon my past experience here at Village and to bringing about wider recognition of the top-quality instruction and learning I see in the classrooms here every day.<\/span><\/p>
