Village starts in October 1993 as a need for parents of students in CTE, who requested an extension of the school at the primary, basic and diversified and so their children could continue with the same methodology and philosophy of education up to graduate from Village School . In November of that same year, settled our beliefs, goals and human characteristics to develop in our students. These aspects would be the foundation for the education of our future leaders.
At the same time we began proceedings for the Ministry of Education and the first inscriptions to school, on first and second grade.
During 1994 we continued student enrollment as well as the selection and hiring of faculty and staff.
In January 1995 the school started with 64 students, achieving our goals in terms of number of students, with full quotas in high school, first and second grade.
Our big family Village opened in September 1999 the first phase of the new campus, is located at Km 25.5 Carretera a El Salvador. Being one of the greatest achievements because we offer our students top facilities, modern technology and active learning methodology. At that time our student population was 450 students from First to Nineth grade.
Since we moved to Village facilities road to El Salvador, our growth has been steady. In 2003 we opened the gym giving our students range in terms sports.
In April 2004, Village opens its doors to students and staff, the Resource Center, which features modern technology, computers, internet, gunboats, destination and interactive whiteboards. Also and very important, the physical library.
In March 2005, we inaugurated the first phase of the cafeteria, which gives students the right environment to meet their nutritional needs.
Over the years, Village has grown and we have achieved a degree increase per cycle, so that in the 2003-2004 school year, came our first class of leaders to the various national and international universities
There after Village is a trilingual school, private, mixed, daytime, located on the outskirts of Guatemala City. Facilities include a fully equipped gym, baseball fields, basketball courts, roller hockey court, volleyball court and soccer field with a running track. The building consists mainly in classrooms, an administrative area, cafeteria, media center, language laboratory and MiniVillage (Elementary School). The pupil-teacher ratio is 8-1.
